Weweb unreliable connection this week (beginning of May 2025) ? How to fix?

Hi Weweb,

Today is yet another day during this week that I made various changes to my webapp, only to discover later that the change wasn’t saved. Some days ago I received multiple warnings of a ‘lost connection’ during my work, so I thought let me wait for it to pass.. but today it happened again (this time even without a warning of a ‘lost connection’).

How can we/I resolve this? Some suggestions:

  1. Can you make the Weweb editor store changes locally in a queue - and have it retry to process them after a connection error occurred (or whatever kept it from processing those changes) ? What I have seen the Editor do this week is simply forget about all changes made whenever this ‘lost connection’ warning appeared, but that seems a bit too easy.
  2. When I experience one after the other connection error (as I did some days ago), is there a way that I can check on your website if there’s anything going wrong? → If so, than you’re aware and I don’t need to report anything.
  3. When multiple errors occur, what can your users do to diagnose the cause of this unreliable connection and fix it?

By the way: hardware can’t be the issue (desktop with wired & fast internet connection).
