Hi guys,
I submitted a ticket more than 2 weeks ago about a bug from a component on samsung device.
The ticket is still under dev but not being updated for the past 2 weeks, how to get more info about what’s going on?
Thank you!
Hi @Davy
We had our bi-annual onsite last week which caused a little delay in the resolution of bugs. A lot of our time during that onsite was dedicated to improving the current support app so you should see the revamped app come out fairly soon, including a nicer way to chat back and forth with the team
Re your ticket specifically, an update should come shortly as the normal flow of debugging resumes.
awesome thank you @Joyce for the update!
Hi @Davy
Quick update on this: the team didn’t get a chance to prioritize this bug last week but is looking into it now.
awesome @Joyce Thank you for the update really appreciate it!
Your ticket is pretty tough as most of the tech team have an iphone and your bug seems to happen only on android and not on every versions, but we are on it!
I think both the bug related to the map and the multiselect have the same root cause, something is making them render multiple time and make them blink, could be a logic somewhere on your app
We are still investigating
Off topic These are the first world problems
Hi Alexis,
Yes, we (the muggles) are encountering this issue, and some of my customers have reported it too. Fingers crossed for a solution soon! If there’s anything I can do to help, please let me know.
I’ve noticed that my single-option dropdown lists work perfectly, but the multi-select ones don’t. It might be worth comparing the two if the structure of those components is 80% similar probably the problem lies in the differences of those 2 components.
Hi, it seems like it’s linked to our PWA plugin, we are still investigating, but in the meantime if you don’t use it you can try to remove it and see if solve your issue with the multiselect and the map.
Our PWA plugins is monitoring many device information so you can bind/use them on your app and some device seems to refresh their battery status more often and cause some elements to rerender.
Hey @Alexis I confirm,
I deleted the plugin and tried on mobile,
it’s not only working better it also improved the entire performance of the page. (on mobile)
Good to know! We will focus on solving the root cause of this issue, thanks for your patience
