Live chat with WeWeb founders

Hey there :waving_hand:

Raphaël and Flo, our CEO and CPO, will host a live Q&A on YouTube on Wednesday 17 December at 5PM UTC.

They will:

  • Answer all your questions live.
  • Talk about where WeWeb is headed.
  • Show you what the new full-stack experience we’ve been working on looks like…

I am very biased of course  but I think it looks amazing and you will absolutely love it!

EDIT: You can watch the recording here

AMA Christmas - final

Spoiler 1: yes, you’ll still be able to build secure WeWeb frontends that scale well on top of external backends like Xano and Supabase.

Spolier 2: yes, you’ll still be able to self-host your WeWeb apps, full-stack or not

As well I didn’t see the link to the tables for example webhooks or so will I be able to have a public endpoint and vatify digital signatures hash for example Stripe webhook on a processed payment ?

What about indexing ?

Will we be able to use a separate domain for the backend

What about using http only auth ?

Hi Shimon, glad you enjoyed the chat!

Yes, you will be able to choose where you want the server to be based when you create it. For now we are testing with US East, Europe Central, Asia Pacific but will most likely make other regions available too. In any case, you will have the option to self-host the app if you prefer.

You will be able to create public endpoints, yes. The UI is still a work in progress but here’s a little preview of what it looks like at the moment:

The beta is not opened yet but you can signup to the waitlist here: No-Code Backend Builder

Re indexing and separate domain, I’m not sure it will be available in the first release, let me ask and get back to you on those.

Re using http only for auth, can you clarify what you mean?

Very exciting news!
