I lost changes to a specific page last night. User error?

I’m not clear on what happened, and I don’t doubt that it could be user error where I inadvertently mashed CMD-Z way too many times.

Here are some of my variables.

  1. I am connected via WiFi via Google Fiber using Edge, and often work on the MacBook Pro then transfer to the MacBook Air.
  2. I always take note of the sign in when I move to another computer, so I assume there isn’t a caching issue. I don’t think I had any WeWeb connection issues either.
  3. I’m almost done recreating what I had, along with other changes, so reaching back into what was there wouldn’t help.
  4. I tend to make duplicate projects every few days, but in this case I made a backup after the changes were lost and I didn’t realize it.

Just wanted to put this out there in case someone has a suggestion on what I should do differently.

Sure, I’m a little frustrated, but I keep thinking about all the time I am saving with WeWeb.

Sometimes if you use backspace in the editor, it also can delete some stuff, it’s a bug with selection I think. I caught it a few times, wasn’t able to replicate tho, so it might be it.

Ah, I haven’t noticed that one. I can only assume I mashed a bunch of backspaces and undos then moved on without knowing.

I’ve also seen an oddity when doing a right-click copy. Sometimes I’m trying to copy a container with a few items for another page, but the drop-zone dot appears and won’t go away until I drop the copy somewhere.

As broberto mentioned, the backspace thing is definitely an issue. I’ve deleted so many things by accident from it
