Hello everyone,
We’re currently working on a web application with WeWeb that would allow users to do simple content management with personnalization (text, images, links, etc). Our goal is to offer a module quite similar to what tools like WeWeb, Elementor, etc. do but specifically for basic content editing. For this, we had thought about using the GrapesJS framework which seems well suited. However, when exploring the integration in WeWeb, there doesn’t seem to be an NPM library available for GrapesJS because it’s not integrated with unpkg. So I’m turning to the community for your feedback and advice:
What would be the best alternative to GrapesJS for this type of need with WeWeb?
Have you ever had to integrate a similar content editor in your WeWeb projects?
Do you think it’s feasible via a workaround, like code export for example?
Or via the import of a custom component, even if without the library it seems more complicated?
I have seen many people trying to make similar tools with kanban or stackable but it seem quite bad, since my application is aiming designers they probably won’t be satisfied with too basic and un-personnalized options.
Before launching into too much work, we’d like to ensure the feasibility of this module which is key for our application. Your experience feedback on this kind of issue would be very useful to us.
Don’t hesitate if you have any additional questions.
Thanks in advance for your help!
