Sometimes custom value mapping issues come down to how or where the mapping is set up. Try simplifying your logic or testing with a basic dataset to pinpoint what’s missing.
Are you applying the mapping directly in the datagrid column, or is it happening in your source data before it reaches the grid? This could help others provide a more targeted suggestion.
I’m actually having the same issue. I’m using a Xano collection that is filtered by the logged in user id. Some columns are working and some are not. Here is a loom video that displays setting up a datagrid from scratch. What am I doing wrong?

Same problem here. The value appears in the table, but when trying to customize it through “Display value” it’s not possible to find it through the item mapping to customize it.
