Can't select a "mapping.item" var when first item is empty

Hi,

I don’t know if it’s because of the last update, but I was setting up values in a datagrid element, and there was one column I couldn’t custom because the first item didn’t have any value in this column, although the next ones do.

And because of the empty value, I didn’t have any “mapping.item” tab. So I had to copy and paste a mapping.item variable expression from another column which had the tab, to be able to set up a custom displayed vlaue in this column ( what you see below is from the same datagrid, different column).

Any hints to explain it ?

I think that’s the expected datagrid behavior at the moment (like you said, because the value of the first item is empty, you don’t have a mapping.item to work with) but definitely a UX issue we should look at.
