I’ve been going through the current tutorials offered by WeWeb, and honestly, they leave a lot to be desired.
They’re not really end-to-end and they tend to jump around between topics and often assume you already have some web development experience. On top of that, many of them seem outdated compared to the current version of WeWeb. So you start to follow the course, and you can’t find the 3rd element they throw at it.
I checked Udemy and found nothing, and I also tried YouTube, but again, I couldn’t find anything that really clicked.
If anyone knows of better tutorial resources or has put something together themselves, I’d really appreciate any recommendations. Thanks!
I want to se a from scratch video for someon who never did (or did very basic) webdev. But mostly is the content: 1) updated, 2) from start to finish, and 3) create 2 or 3 tipical apps. The current training video is pretty bad. It starts and in the first 5 minutes they are using something that is no longer available in that form (a card, and yes, I looked up, there seem to be in a new package now but they don’t work as in the video). Bubble’s video is much better (not perfect), but I don’t like that Bubble is a closed system.
This stuff is lacking but they are currently working on this, first they are updating all of there documentation which has been looking much better and then they are working on there academy. If you would like to see some apps being build from scratch check out some of the clone and chill live streams that @Agustin_Carozo has been doing on YouTube. Personally I would just try jumping in and building maybe try something simple first and then go from there, and just check the documentation and then ask questions here if you get stuck.
