Xano Endpoint missing

Hi,

This has happened both in collections and Workflow Xano Requests - I set the API Group and the Endpoint, try to run a collection or a Request and it fails. When I check the Endpoint, it is missing and I have to refresh the API Group a few times before the Endpoing list shows.

I saw a post about this but don’t see any resolution.

You can have a look at the issue here.

Thanks

Hi guys, we just released a fix for this. Can you let me know if you are still having the issue?

Uncertain if related, but a dev and production environment which was working yesterday has now stopped working entirely. When looking at the Xano integration on WeWeb all the settings have been removed which means i have to reconnect and reselect every endpoint again. I have opened a chat and am awaiting a response, but this is deeply concerning especially if there is no way to batch restore what was meant to be there and makes deployment on this stack extremely fragile. Documenting here for a written record.

Following up on this. Xano performed a maintenance activity on our space that resulted in a change of instance name without informing us that this would be a side-effect (or attempting to preserve the original instance name). This resulted in the original instance effectively being deleted so WeWeb was obviously unable to find the instance.

For reference, we experienced no data-loss. But because everything else seemed intact, it was not immediately obvious what had happened. WeWeb support were extremely helpful in supporting us while we tried to identify what had happened and restore our service, and we appreciate their prompt assistance.

This is consistently happening for me. Every time I go into a workflow the endpoint has disappeared but the group is there, to make it come back I need to refresh the group & then the endpoint in that order.

When I do that the previously mapped endpoint reappears, if I just try and refresh the endpoint first, nothing happens.

Hi,

Still happening. I just created a collection and after adding the API group I had to refresh the Endpoint and the API group several times before I got the list of endpoints.

Hello @Lee.B and @SynopsisLabs,

When it’s happening again, could you please send us a screenshot of your console? To open the console, you can right-click, inspect and select the console tab

It would help us a lot to understand if you have the same issue as we had. Or if it’s something else

Thank you very much

Good morning

This is when it failed

I then refreshed group and endpoint, when back in and it loaded successfully. This is what that looks like;

I thought I would do some testing as well while I’m here.

  • Initial load failed, then I did the group & end point refresh
  • Refreshed the browser - Loaded correctly
  • Killed and reopened the browser - Loaded correctly
  • Signed out, killed and reopened the browser - Loaded correctly

At this point I thought it was strange because it feels like every time I go in, it doesn’t load but then a few minutes later I was playing around and it wasn’t working again so I assumed it was time based / a time out issue.

So to replicate I tested the theory it was time based and I did the refresh, then retested every 60 seconds and I can reproduce that it stops working 5mins after the refresh (and confirmed it twice)

Hope that helps

Thank you very much @Lee.B, you have the exact same error as us

We tried a fix 8 days ago. Xano has two ways to get the API endpoint list. We were using one before, and now we are using the other one. None of them seems to fix the issue. We have contacted them, we will keep you updated when we have news

For information, Xano answered, and they are going to investigate on their side. We were able to give them all the details and information they needed. We are waiting information from them

Hello @SynopsisLabs,

I am sorry for the long time that it’s taking, we are waiting an answer from Xano. I am pinging them again to have news. I will keep you updated when I have more information

If you can send them a message in their support, it will help. They will have more visibility how often it’s happening and they will prioritize it

Will do.

Thanks
