I’m a non-technical founder who built a company in the past tinkering with jotforms, zapier, and 3rd party apps, then raised funding and had a dev team build out product from the code level. Had great success, but trying to avoid VC route and self fund this next mission.
I’m curious,
I’m looking to build a two sided marketplace and as a non-technical who likes to explore and try connecting pieces togather,
It seems like WeWeb & Xano could accomplish a lot?
Would there be any limitations in creating business logic and backend functionality compared to Webflow + Wized + Xano?

I was exploring Wized a year ago, when I had a task to look for a tech stack for my former no-code agency. I also went to other builders.
I think your only option is WeWeb actually. I’m not sure about how Wized is doing (I ditched them when they failed to deliver on SSR that they kept promising it would be in a month, two three…) but last time I checked, they still weren’t the best option for SEO which I guess will be a key feature to your marketplace?
For the rest, Wized offers the power of Webflow, but it’s not a native integration, it indeed is just a wrapper. WeWeb on the other hand has “native apps” as it is a builder that generates a Vue.js app that you can actually export and host wherever.
I also think the costs should be lower on the WeWeb side, as you don’t need an additional Webflow subscription.
Overall Wized moves kinda slow, compared to WeWeb, that’s why I went to them and never looked back.
If you tell us more about the usecase/worries/ideas, I think you’d get more detailed answers.
By the way, you might also be interested in a 1:1 chat about this, into a more detail, I often do explorations with non tech founders and it can save a lot of time, money and headaches.
Not ditched, they are acquired by Finsweet, but they understood that their solution has too many hackable (basicly you could use weweb project and have wized feature with few tags , and without any hosting plan need from webflow (back then i would just pay for workspace to export code and worked perfectly
The editor was faaaaar away from Weweb
Was creating a website with it for hours, until i tried the weweb editor, the decision was quick, even after many hours, decided to remake all in weweb
But if cost/production and less lockin you value atm (not saying weweb takes the lockin road in the futur, at least i don’t think so)
But yeah cost opitization> wized free, supabase, webflow, vercel/clouflare page/else, devlink
If you value quicker and more easy to learn and an editor you will like to use > Weweb
Between those two !
