Hello builders ![]()
I see a lot of components being created, and myself create useful ones. But today, there is no way to share them or make them easily discoverable. And instead of people spending time and tokens building them in WeWeb, we could have a place to share those!
I’m creating a library of components, ready-to-use blocks, workflows, and formulas.
Blocks are drop-in components in WeWeb (like you would build them in the Editor). The idea is to just copy and paste them to your project. No dependencies. I want to make them really fast to use when your import them to your project.
Formulas and workflows are ready-to-use logic. For instance, one thing that I use often is a color-mix CSS function that I use inside of a WeWeb function. It’s a pretty simple use-case but an often used one.
Coded components listed would redirect to GitHub so users can duplicate the repo or creators can also provide the download the source directly in wwbox.
Some of the future updates I was thinking of:
- add more components
- map your tokens per project so that they are automatically used when you import a block (and preview the components)
- community powered library
- add payments to elements to remunerate creators
The platform is entirely built in WeWeb by the way.
I would love to know your opinion on this platform! What would make you use this platform? Or not use it?
