Seeking Advice on Building a Customisable Widget with Embeddable iFrame Using WeWeb

Hey everyone,

We have a client who is looking to build a widget that users can log into a backend portal and customize (e.g., color, layout, etc.). Once they’ve completed their customizations, they would like to generate an embeddable iFrame of that widget to use on their website.

My question is: Is this kind of functionality achievable using only WeWeb?

If not, can anyone recommend another service that could be used alongside WeWeb to accomplish this?

Thanks in advance for your advice and suggestions!

Should be doable, but it would require an exploration to understand how and your needs :+1:

Thank you for the response!

I’m glad to hear that it’s doable. I’d be happy to dive deeper into the specifics of what we’re looking for and explore how we can make it work. Could you let me know what details you’d need from my side to start that exploration?

Looking forward to your guidance!

There could be many things actually. Some questions might be about whether you’re fetching any data, or for example about how dynamic it is, does it communicate with a backend? If so how? And many many more questions.

I usually do these kind of more project-specific explorations for a fee, as it takes some time. If you’d be interested, hmu, or feel free to book a 1:1 consultation where we can go as in depth as needed.

Hey Broberto, thanks for the offer.

I will definitely book a meeting if we are unable to come to a solution on our own.

Thanks again :raised_hands:
