Rich text mention doesn't work if there's another character before the "trigger" character

Hi all,

I really love the mention feature from the rich text editor, but I encountered an issue, where if there’s any character before the trigger character (in my case, the “@” character), the mention dropdown isn’t displayed. You can check my Loom recording for an easier understanding.

Is there anyway to fix this, or is there any workaround? Thanks.

No workarounds, this is standard. You could try to tweak the settings of the element, but if there is no option for this, then it would be very hard to make this work in a no-code way.
