Hey there, I’m trying to attend the office hours at 6pm CET today - but I’m still in the waiting room for 7 minutes already. Has it been cancelled/postponed?

I think the @Joyce said that they were having a Summer Break and the Office Hours would restart in September, but I’m not sure if I heard it right.

Hey there :wave:

Yes, we are indeed taking a break from Office Hours during the summer :slight_smile: We’re using it as an opportunity to improve how we host Office Hours and other events.

Our goal is to provide you with:

  1. a more pleasant UX when you join the weekly Office Hours or Onboarding Sessions (Zoom is a bit austere at times :sweat_smile:)
  2. a calendar to see which events are coming up (onboarding sessions, office hours but also webinars, live building streams, etc.) so you can register to the ones you’re interested in
  3. better content once the event is over (with helpful summaries and timestamps)

We’ll be running a first experiment with a new tool in the coming weeks and iterating based on your feedback.

PS: haha @Broberto knows a lot! You can trust him to do his best to provide value :slight_smile:

I really enjoyed when the Office Hours were streamed to YouTube! It just made everything so accessible and shareable, while also being able to see the scheduled streams in advance and setting notifications when LIVE. :smile:

I know questions are a bit harder on YouTube and other platforms, but there are bots out there like Nightbot or Streamlabs bot that I’ve seen streamers use where someone can add a question in the proper queue, all through the chat.

ex: !ask How do I do such and such in WeWeb?

Answering questions live on YouTube is actually much easier for us. The downside is that people can’t jump in and share their screen, so it limits the type of questions we can answer :confused:
