Hi there,
I have some date fields in Airtable that are coming across as text fields in WeWeb. That’s a problem, because it means I can’t filter using greater than / less than a user-specified date.
Is there a date field type in WeWeb? Is there a way of using it with Airtable date fields?
(Failing that, is there a way to filter on dates even if they’re stored as text in WeWeb?)
Many thanks!
Hey @mitsley
This shouldn’t be treated as text. Are you sure the columns in Airtable are set as date/time and not text?
Hi Quentin, yes indeed - they’re dates in Airtable:
[posting again, as the forum doesn’t let new users post more than one embedded item]
And text in WeWeb:
None of the date fields have come across as dates in WeWeb…
It’s indeed an issue on our side. We’re currently looking on how to fix this.
In the meantime, you could use frontend filters directly on your page by casting back the text data as a date using nocode dates formulas.
Thanks for the update. That’s the workaround I’m using!

HI Quentin,
Is this issue resolved now?
Hi Quentin / WeWeb team - do you have an update for this? Date fields in Airtable are still coming across as text.
