Anyone built a social media / dating web app with WeWeb?

Hey everyone,
I’m planning to build a social media web app / dating web app (profiles, photo uploads, messaging) and I’ve been looking into WeWeb.

So far, I haven’t really seen any convincing examples of full social or community apps made with it. Has anyone here tried something similar or seen a real social-style app built with WeWeb?
Or do you think another no-code/low-code tool would be a better fit for this kind of project?

Thanks!

Yes, it’s possible with WeWeb and Xano.@bastianrms , I’ve built something similar to a social media web app featuring post listings with text and images, the ability to add messages or threads to posts, edit and delete posts, view profiles to send private messages, and display view counts, total comments, and likes.

if you can share little more about your web app i can give you more accurate answer

Thanks for getting back to me. That sounds promising  Do you you have a link where I can see your web app?
Main functionalities should be: personal profiles, photo and video uploads for profiles, private messaging to other people, photos / videos to send to other people in private messages (also personal albums), viewing other peoples photos/videos with commenting and like functionality, geolocation where users see who is in my area, tapping profiles i.e. “hello” to other profiles, personal notification feed to see who liked my photos & visited my profile, overview of profiles: who is in my area plus filter function for example with hobbies, forum.

I have seen Flutterflow, but I am hesitating because it’s not web optimizied with load times.

@bastianrms The web app I built includes very similar functionality: user profiles, post creation with text and media, private messaging, likes, comments, view tracking, and a connection list where users can send and accept connection requests all powered by WeWeb and Xano.

It’s a client project currently in the final testing phase and will go live next week. Once it’s live, I’ll be able to share the link so you can explore how these features work in action.
