Workflow triggers greyed out

Hi,

I am trying to create a workflow but the default option of On execution is showing but is greyed out so I cannot select anything else.

Would appreciate any assistance.

Hi Steve, I had the same problem about two weeks ago. I guess you are trying to setup the incorrect type of workflow.

WeWeb distinguises App workflows, Page workflows and Component workflows.
They are accessible from different editor locations and they have different trigger options.

Try to read about the workflows in the documentation, navigate to different workflows and see the difference

Yeah, you’re using a wrong workflow. You’re creating a so called “Global workflow” which can be only executed. To use the triggers, you need to create an “Element workflow” on the specific elements.
