Since a few weeks, free projects suddenly (!) stop working after 2 weeks of inactivity.
WITHOUT WARNING - WITHOUT NOTIFICATION on the pricing-page of Weweb (https://pricing.weweb.io/).
Is this the new way how Weweb communicates with clients?
I thought “2 weeks of inactivity” meant that the resulting app (as webapp or pwa) isn’t visited by users. But it seems that it means the creator has to open the editor every 2 weeks, even if there’s no need for changes. Just open and close.
I build several small apps for small non-profit-organisations. These apps work fine and are daily used by several members of those organisations. And those small organisations (run by volunteers !!) can’t afford a paid plan!
But now, when I’m on holiday for more than 2 weeks, these organisations can’t work anymore because I don’t have my computer on holiday to open the editor. And **Weweb disables my apps. **
Is this the new way how Weweb wants to have satisfied clients?
So, I should suggest :
1. Only use this new limitation for apps created AFTER the latest update
2. Mention this limitation on the pricing-page
3. Re-evaluate “2 weeks of inactivity” to “2 weeks the app isn’t opened by a user” instead of looking at the dashboard-activity.
