Unable to change title of tab component from starter kit?

I imported the starter kit in my project and tried to use tab component.
Everything is working fine except for that the title change is not reflected to the design as shown below?

Am I missing something obvious? or is it a bug?

I am trying to use this and have 6 tabs but when I use the number of tabs property it seems to only show a max of 5 even if that property is greater than 5. Is there a way to allow the tabs component to have more than 5 tabs?
