The Stripe customer portal loads fine for me in the editor, but not in my published app. I have both the test and production keys configured in the plug-in. Is there something else I need to change for the published app? Thanks!
Hi @Dorian
We have an open bug on Stripe regarding test keys. The team is investigating but, in the meantime, the fix / workaround is to remove the test keys from your Stripe configuration and republishing the app.
Can you give it a try?
If that doesn’t fix it, it might indeed be a Stripe issue related to that Terms of Service warning you’re getting in your Stripe dashboard.
Hi @Joyce. I removed the test keys, republished the app but still unable to access the Customer Portal using the built-in Customer Portal workflow action. We resolved the Stripe error and other Stripe functions work (e.g. creating a customer and setup session) but accessing the Customer Portal still not working. Any other ideas please?
I think I figured it out! In the editor with the test keys removed, I am getting this Stripe error when attempting to launch the Customer Portal! So appears to be a Stripe issue, not WeWeb!
"Access to the customer portal in livemode is only available to paid Billing users. If you started using Billing before it became a paid product, an upgrade is required. Learn how to upgrade at Billing customer portal : Stripe: Help & Support.
Awesome! Glad you found a solution and thanks so much for taking the time to share it! Really appreciate it
