Thanks for flagging this! It looks like a bug when the rich text input is set to output markdown.
Can you create a support ticket here? (I can create one internally but that way is nicer for you because you see the ticket progress)
In the meantime, if this is a blocker for you, you can switch the output of the rich text input to html and it should work fine:
