Hi everyone!
Quick question: are there any best practices or recommendations regarding image resolution in WeWeb?
We noticed some differences in rendering between Figma and WeWeb, even when using the same resolution.
If anyone has experience or guidelines to share (ideal resolution, format, DPI, etc.), I’d really appreciate it!
Thanks in advance
Hi Theodore
Can you tell us more about this differences?
1- What is the exact resolution you are trying?
2- What is the format of the file? (png, jpg)
3- What seems to be the issue? (Is it blurry?)
Can you attach a screenshot of both cases so we can understand better?
Hi Agustin
Thanks a lot for your response!
Unfortunately, I can’t share the Figma file or screenshots publicly since it’s client work, thanks for your understanding
But here are the details:
- Format: We’re using PNG
- Issue: The images don’t actually appear blurry — they appear larger than in Figma.
- The font sizes, image sizes, and even columns look bigger in WeWeb.
- For example, a 4-column layout in Figma with images fits perfectly, but on WeWeb, with the same image dimensions, we can only fit 3 columns in the same width.
We’re trying to understand if this is due to pixel density, how WeWeb interprets scaling, or if there’s a best practice we should follow for consistent sizing between Figma and WeWeb (like ideal base resolution, DPI, or scaling guidelines).
Appreciate any advice you can share!
Hi Theodore, I haven’t heard anything like this before.
I’ll ask around our team.
Let me know if you end up finding a workaround.
