Overlapping Event in Calendar thru a Modal

I just encountered a problem when building a schedule function for my website. The modal I added serves to “Add a schedule” but apparently the events from the calendar overlaps the modal in which it looks like there’s a design problem. Is there any way to fix this one or are there any work around?

Here’s what it looks like when “Add Schedule” button is clicked and a modal appears:
