I’m Agustin, the new Community Programs Manager at WeWeb!
I’m super excited to meet you all and to kick off a new event series: Community Clone & Chill
What is it?
A live, casual, and collaborative session where we clone a real-world app functionality together using WeWeb.
No pressure. Bugs, questions, and learning out loud are all part of the fun.
Here’s the format:
• Where: Youtube Live (you’ll be invited to screen share)
• When: Every Friday, from 12PM to 2PM EST
• How: We’ll pick a challenge, build together, and share the best moments in the community afterwards!
Welcome Could you tell us a little more about the event? I haven’t fully understood whether you’ll build it or we all would be building it and sharing our screens?
The idea behind this event is to create a dedicated time every week where we all get together and build something fun live.
I’ll be sharing my screen and building along with you, but it’s definitely not a one-way stream. The goal is to interact, ask questions, and learn from each other.
If you feel like it, you’re welcome to turn on your camera or share your screen too, whether it’s to show progress, ask for feedback, or just jam on an idea.
Think of it like a co-building session, not a tutorial. We’re learning out loud, together
Hi @Agustin_Carozo I think that linking to graphs is still a bit of a mystery. That would be good to include. It would be good to have different table structures, like generating from junction relationships, as well as from row data as well as from column data.
Hi Agustin,
Congrats on your new role! How large a project are you taking on for clone and chill sessions?
I’m working on a timeclock application built on a xano backend. If we wanted to clone something, maybe this could be a reference https://www.timeclockwizard.com/
though we could focus on one aspect/page, the employee clock in, clock out and timesheet?
Thanks for considering the idea.
Noel
I would love to see how you build a route optimizer with mapbox. The user adds a number of adresses he needs to visit and mapbox will optimize the route and the user can see the route.
I just wanted to share some positive feedback on the project. I really appreciate the concept of the long-form videos that break down complex ideas – kudos to the team for that! I also want to commend the weekly office hours; I’ve benefited greatly from them. Keep up the excellent work!
Also, a small suggestion: if you could keep the events on YouTube, similar to what you did with the Kanban session, it would make them much more accessible :]
