Hi Gaby, I don’t think so, these projects we are building are not even prototypes, they are mostly to understand one or a couple of functionalities, but they are not fully developed.
Hello Agustin, thanks for trying to teach how to use WeWeb.
I appreciate the effort. As it is now, for someone who never did WebDev, it is very tought to learn.
Here are some notes as I try to follow the tutorial:
- Dynamic_status column happens to be the special one on the table, but you don’t explain how you create it, you don’t explain how to link the statuses to the tasks.
- You talk about collections but don’t explain what they are, although it could be obvious.
- Why would anybody use something that is not real time, let alone a kanban board?
- You don’t show what data is in your tables. Maybe having some CSVs to pre-import so that we all have the same data would be good for follwo along.
- You don’t explain how do you upload images. If I don’t have the same info as you, it is more difficult to follow along.
- When I create the collection, even if I have 3 rows, it is always empt, it says: Success and No data fetched (Empty array). This is my current blocker. EDIT: I was able to continue by disabling the RLS Policies at the table level.
I would add more notes if I can make the connection fetch data.
Here is some more details about a collection in the docs.
That’s a wrap on this edition of clone & chill !
We built:
A Pomodoro Timer
A Client Portal
A Mood Tracker
A Product Hunt Clone
A Kanban Like Trello
These builds pushed us to test ideas quickly, explore different UI patterns, and showcase what’s possible in WeWeb,even when you’re short on time.
Big thanks to everyone who followed along, jumped in with ideas, or built something on their own
Stay tuned, we’ve got more community ideas and projects coming soon!
