First, I think the new additions are great and highly welcomed:

  • Sorting
  • filtering
  • Scroll bar & Pagination built in

This is all great, but functionality that used to exist and be relied upon no longer does.

For example, the custom field is now completely eliminated. I used this for practically every field in a table because I often want to manipulate data items for better presentation, or do a calculation inside the table (i.e. % complete or progress bar).

As a result, I can’t use the new element, and I have to copy old table elements in order to proceed.

To the team, you have a really amazing product and I love it. There is a need though to clean up the releases to be a bit more smooth and not remove functionality which is frequently used.

Thank you for the feedback and apologies for that. The work on the datagrid is not over yet; your issues have been reported and we are working on a fix based additional user feedback.

Yes, I agree with what is said above. Need the ability to use formulas inside a given field (like in the table component), formatting of a number to a currency or percentage, the ability to add a workflow to a field (like in the table component) and the ability for a user to easily add a row to the table.
