@flo super URGENT!! :fire: is the updated DataGrid still expected to be released this week?

We have a large project dependent on having the following features:

  1. Freeze Column
  2. Custom column integrated - so we can add text, conditions, logic, add select field, format dates, etc.

Yup. This alone - will bring so much joy to so many existing users. This should have never been paused. I’m still holding my breath - but I suspect I will eventually give up and just roll our own in Vue. But so unnecessary.

Hello everyone,

I have some great news! This week, we planned to release:

  • Pinned columns (also known as “frozen” columns)
  • Custom formulas for display values, allowing you to format data as needed
  • Flex property for column widths
  • Auto height

These features are ready! But we wanted to take the time to go further, and I’m thrilled to announce that we found a way to add custom cells, where you can drag and drop anything.

More details in this video.

We still need to run some final tests to ensure everything works smoothly, especially with select inputs, but I’m confident this will be released next week!

Will this be a new component, or will the existing component be upgraded? In other words, if I work on a datagrid today, will I need to rebuild it when the release comes out, or will I just be able to use these additional features on the existing datagrid?

Nice update and really an important one since we had to use tables again due to customization.

1 Quick question: Will this update be applied to the already implemented new grid component, or will we have to rebuild it with a new, updated one?
