Missing 'On Submit' Trigger in WeWeb

Hi WeWeb community,

I’m working on a project and trying to set up a submit button to update Supabase and navigate to another page. However, I’ve run into an issue with the ‘On Submit’ trigger option.

I’ve properly configured the button with the type ‘Submit Button’, but no matter which container or div I select (from the button’s parent up to the ‘Host Onboarding’ container), the ‘On Submit’ option is not appearing in the Triggers section.

I’ve double checked that I’ve selected the right elements, but still no luck. The ‘On Submit’ trigger has eluded me entirely entirely. Clearly user error.

Has anyone else encountered this problem before or have any suggestions on how to troubleshoot it? I’d really appreciate any insights you can provide!

do you have a form container element in the page? that’s the element with the on submit trigger.

Thank you so much. Something so simple I overlooked. I was right about one thing, “user error”. lol
