After a lot of struggles to have a fully custom search component, I’ve decided to make my own and I decided to bring it to you all as well.
What it does
It extends any of your pre-styled input fields, even the ones from different Libraries, by using dropzones to create a “skeleton component” that can hold any of your pre-made elements, while adding a lot of functionality and exposing methods to control the skeleton component.
This component is focused to take away the hardest part - functionality, while allowing you to design freely and focus only on that. For example I’ve built a 1:1 Google Search bar with it in under 20 minutes.
This looks like the perfect solution to my problem. I paid for this twice, once on the marketplace, the second time inside the Weweb application. The item is still not available. Should I know something when I’m searching? I currently have a free Weweb plan
I also purchased this about a week ago and still haven’t gotten access to it. Also noticed this template still appears public via direct link, but doesn’t appear on the store front page, so I’m not sure if that has something to do with the bug.
Hello @Alexis I also raised a related issue a few weeks ago. The issue is that for example my asset doesn’t even show up when you navigate to the Marketplace → Libraries, but some are there twice and there are some broken ones. By the way, sorry everyone for the inconvenience, I hear about this just now, I hope WeWeb will manage to solve this.
I hope this gets fixed because I have an another component in the pipe.
