Learning WeWeb, but the Academy videos don’t match the current version

Hi, I’m currently learning how to use WeWeb. The videos in the Academy are great, but the interface and options seem different from what I see in the current WeWeb version.

For example, in the video “Integrate a Figma Design in WeWeb,” divs are actually set as flexboxes now. When I try to use the “justify space-between” button, the elements don’t separate — they stay together. I even tried solving this with ChatGPT but couldn’t get it to work.

Since I’m new, it’s also a bit hard to find some settings. In the same video, the instructor changes the icon in the dropdown, but I couldn’t find where that option is in the current version.

Just wondering — will there be updated videos for the latest version of WeWeb? It would make the learning process smoother, as I’m spending a lot of time trying to figure out things that should be simple.

Thanks!

Hi @Gaby_Padilla

Thanks for the feedback. Indeed, we are aware of this issue. A new Academy is on the roadmap. For learning, you can also check our documentation: https://docs.weweb.io/ as it has more intro articles now that are more up to date with the UI and more will be added in the upcoming weeks:

More of a hack than a solution, but I’ve found ChatGPT and Claude to be helpful in some instances. You can even upload a screenshot in ChatGPT and ask it for directions on how to achieve something. It’s not always perfect, but I have found it speeds up the learning curve a bit.
