Wanted to bump this thread back up. I thought notifications were a part of the PWA enhancements that was on the roadmap for the latest release, but looks like they didn’t make it in.

Now it appears there’s nothing on the public roadmap for further PWA enhancements or notifications at all.

@Joyce is this still on the way? Thanks!

The newest Summer Update made it possible for push notifications without code export. If you’re interested in any easy solution, look into OneSignal!

Awesome, this is great to get confirmation of! Thanks, @Micah. If you’ve worked through this already, can you point me to the correct documentation? Is it still the docs that @flo shared previously? Even just a high level overview of how the stack works together would be super helpful.

I suppose a part of my question for the weweb team still stands - should we expect native support, perhaps via a plugin for onesignal or progressier in the future? Just trying to determine when I should go ahead and prioritize building this into my app.

That looks correct! Just add the head code, upload the file, set its path in WeWeb and it’s setup!

Most of the notification triggering should come from your backend. Not sure how much easier a native integration would make it
