Import Element Failed: Custom Components

While attemping to import a custom component element it fails but doesn’t give any log of reason for the fail. I can’t find any logs anywhere and Wiera chat tells me there is no logs available for this.

  • Github is connected
  • With a repo built using claude.md from Documentation (Using Claude Code | WeWeb Developer Docs)
  • the component works from the local build in Dev editor
  • When i attempt import it goes through Installing and fails on Building

I don’t know where to go to try and fit this. If it’s in that text under Commit I don’t know what it says as it cuts off.

Yes I reached out to the WeWeb support via the in app chat and Daniel got it fixed for me. I’d made an error in my script and he found it. I’m very impressed with the support, to have that level of care. Above and beyond.

Shout out to Daniel.

This custom component is the mission critical centrepiece of my webapp and to have this element now laying on the page and working properly with some baked in example data is the single biggest hurdle out of the way. Now I can move on with building out the rest of the webapp.
