How to properly bind sort direction with supabase (perhaps others)

I am trying to bind the direction of sorting of a Supabase collection. When i type the text “asc” or even “.asc.nullslast” and each time when the postgrest call is made the sort is always descending. I have included a video showing my setup plus the network tab to highlight the issue

After looking at the weweb component on github, i realized The text used for the sort direction must be capitalized. ASC works while asc does not
