I just noticed an issue with the File input component (advanced version) where if the user selects the device camera, after taking a picture and clicking ‘Use Photo’, nothing happens.
This only occurs on iOS 17 using Chrome browser. Works with Safari on iOS 17. No issues on either browser on devices with iOS 18. No issues with Android.
Anyone else run into this? Any viable solutions beside warning users?
No logs in the console? Might be hard to debug, but would be worth trying having a look.
Unfortunately I don’t have a Mac to connect the iPhone I use for testing.
This works, just tested it on iPhone XR in a Chrome Browser. Not the prettiest, but does the job. You pull this up in a tab, start the tracking of logs and then open whatever in an another tab and test it. Upon coming back to the logging tab you should see issues.
