The current figma plugin only imports type and colour styles, as of last year Figma have implemented “Figma variables” which will soon be including type but currently include colours, numbers, strings, and booleans.
I would love it if we could import the values from Figma variables using your plugin in the same way it currently works for styles but for colour, spacing, strings, text styles variables.
Great idea! Not sure we can make it happen but I’ll create a product ticket so the team can explore further

Thing to note, the REST API of Figma allow only Enterprise plan to access to variable endpoints (so so sad)
For weweb, it would need to bypass using a small quickaround whereas through token studio or just DevMode, but yeah too bad from figma
