Figma Plugin Not Working/Creating Unusable Results

Hi Guys,

Great job on WeWeb, well done.

However, after watching all your videos and reading your documentation, I am really struggling to export/import my figma design file into my project.

I’ve managed to setup the colours and typography, but using your Figma plugin to generate the design to copy over, gives more than unusable results.

It seems its not copying over things like Icons, button texts, sizes, spacing and a list of other things.

Could you help? I want to purchase a paid tier for all 3 of my projects but can’t until i ensure my Figma > WeWeb workflow is solid and functional.

Sorry for the delay. I haven’t used Figma myself yet so that question is hard for me. :slight_smile: I will ask the tech team.

The plugin will not generate your icons and images, you will have to upload those to the weweb project and replace them.

Are you using the tagging features in the plugin? Select the frame you want as a button, tag it as a button and then it will be impored as a button in WeWeb.

I tried importing a few sections from your design and the result is not perfect, but with a little weweb work it could look exactly like your Figma

I can help you but please provide exact section you’re exporting and concrete problems you’re facing
