"Create a workflow variable" and use that variable in downstream workflow action works in editor but not in production?

Hey everyone,

checking in if I have identified this bug correctly and if other people experience it ?

I really like the new workflow action “create a workflow variable” which allows to go deeper in contextualizing temp variables in the context where we need them without adding extra rarely used variable on the component scope - in theory.

However for me this seems to break in production and the variable value is not passed downstream to the next actions properly.

Is it being investigated?

For context, the Workflow Variable bug has been fixed. It was impacting both Editor and Production, which suggests what you’re seeing is likely a different issue.
