I am an experienced digital product designer that wants to build sports betting platform. I have some very sharp designs ready to be developed.
Looking for an experienced developer to build this. I will do the design part and you will do the building.
I picked this route since I got quoted $1m and $2m from 2 different agencies with regular coding way.
I don’t think it should be too hard to build this using weweb. As a developer you can charge pretty good amounts for this, I can do complete seperate design for the developer if you want. I just don’t think I can build this my own.

I don’t think the UI is worth 2 Mil. it’s the backend most likely. So yeah, it might not be too hard to build, but the backend will probably be the hardest part, hence the price. You need to sell it a little better, you haven’t got me hooked. If you have a more in depth description of the scope and the features, I’m sure you’d get more relevant candidates.
It will use this to get the data. We will also need things like player wallets, bet settlements, live games/betting and some other features as well.
We can also add player props, some fantasy apps generating billions in revenue. Also as a developer you can charge good amounts to sell the platform. As I said I can do complete seperate design for the developer also.
That’s the thing, these are really complex things to nail well. I still haven’t understood if this is a paid gig, or if you’re looking for someone to partner up with you and work on it for equity?
What I meant was I will also design seperate ui/ux for the developer. Designs at this caliber would go for $5k+.
We will both have a sportsbook platform for ourselves. I design you develop. We will basically change the UI on the design and keep the remaining parts same for 2 seperate sportsbooks.
For something like this, I’d say the dev would need to spend hundreds or even lower thousands of hours to build, test and mantain something of this magnitude, to be secure and running smooth, no matter if it’s code or no-code (would definitely require a ton of code anyway).
So definitely good luck with finding someone with such passion for betting. Not to diminish, or devalue the work of you as a designer, but for anyone looking to partner up on this, I think the 5K of design work to be an “equal” partner is not worth it in my view, compared to the value that a dev would have to put into this. But maybe I don’t see something others will So yeah, definitely wishing all best, it’s gonna be hard to find someone with the same passion as you.
