WeWeb AI- 1million tokens to create one element half heartedly

Hi All,
New to WeWeb but not to nocode and intrigued to try the AI version after watching some WeWeb offical videos. Todays experience has been nothing like the https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jPdo4x01k7g .I am convinced that the AI from that video is not the same as the working version today. I tried to buld a Tabbed Navigation as part of a page.

Basically a horizontal tab bar with 4 tabs: Overview (active), Features, Reviews, Community. Tabs should switch content panels without reloading the page. The selected tab should be underlined or highlighted in blue.

Using short prompts - written by chatgpt and 5 attempts later it is still not working and not right from a visual perspective and whilst the workflows are in place they have been checked and executed but do not work in preview mode.

What am I doing wrong?

I have also spent between 1 and 2 million trying to turn a predesigned template page into a dynamic product page . And again nothing. Does WeWeb not have the capabiity to create dynamic pages or a tabbed navigation system ?

I have used 4 million tokens today and at this rate of x million token needed to get on prompt to work as a foundation level only means that for a full website you will easily need 150+million tokens.

Any advice?

I find the AI only to be useful to give you a base to start from, and from there its much easier to use the manual editor. This article by weweb suggest similar.

So unfortunately until there are major advancements in AI in general I think the solution is to do things manually most of the time.

Hey @koko111 thanks for the message, if you can, can you please share the prompts and the results here or with me in DM? We’ll take a look.

That said, we know the AI integration as it is today has lots of flaws and we working hard to fix them. A new version should be pushed to production this month and will be much better.
