Use weweb icons inside a custom coded component?

I’m wondering how to use the ww-icon element inside a custom-coded component. Has anybody already done this ?

What are you trying to achieve?

I am trying to build an input to link another record, this input need to accept several types of objects (tables) :

I am trying to replace the first letter of the object by an icon :

I know i will need to mention the icons in a custom code to load it into the project but I am having a hard time using the icon component.

If it gets too complicated you might want to try using the regular “Select Element” which was recently updated with the possibility of using icons and images
