Type a date manually in a Date Picker field

Hello,

Is it possible to allow the user to enter a date manually in the Date Picker field instead of having to pick a date from the calendar?

Mmm good question @sampannemans!

I don’t think it’s possible with our date picker element as is but it’s a great idea for a new component!

I’ll share with the product team. In the meantime, you could try creating your own date picker component from scratch or using an input that opens the date picker element when the user starts typing in.
