Select Element: Disabled status does not maintain the enabled element format

Hi there

Is there a way to change the format of a Disabled Select element? when I turn on the disabled status of a Select element, it covers the current format (in my case rounded borders) with a more square format similar to the original/unmodified format.

This is messing with the look of the page.
