Problem cannot edit a realtime | open channel with Codex MCP

Hello,

I am using the WeWeb MCP server (https://ai-api.weweb.io/v1/mcp) via Codex to modify the workflow for my “Dossiers détails” page in the RegloFacto® project.

The “Realtime | Open channel payment med” workflow works in the editor, but I cannot modify it using the editFrontendWorkflow MCP tool. Its existing trigger is:

cd33cf33-e29f-4e8c-ac26-b997fe507ce7-realtime:event

The trigger context exposed by the MCP does not seem to include this Realtime trigger. However, the editing tool requires the trigger to be resubmitted and replaces the entire list of workflow actions. Consequently, the edit attempt is rejected before I can save the changes.

Could you please check:

if editFrontendWorkflow supports existing Realtime integration triggers, specifically realtime:event;

if the tool allows modifying actions without having to rewrite the trigger;

what the recommended method is for modifying this workflow via the MCP without losing its trigger or existing actions?

My immediate need is to modify the payment status routing within this workflow while maintaining its current Realtime listener. I can provide the exact error message if necessary.

Are you using the plugin or the integration? MCP does not support no-code plugin actions. To use Realtime with the integration, you need custom code, which should work with the MCP: Supabase Realtime | Documentation

you can have codex generate the code for you based on your schema and needs, it probably already has you weweb data and app structure so tell it to write the javascript for the realtime logic and as a frontend workflow.
