I’m on the partner plan but i want to select a suitable plan for my client who’s price sensitive. I see that the essential plan meets their needs but i can’t find it allows for backups as i will be doing maintenance for their app and obviously i’ll need to take backups. While the pro seat plan says unlimited backups, essential doesn’t list any.
Does Essential plan not have a back up feature at all ? If not then how to people keep older versions ?

Essential plan backs up your Editor once a day. You can do as many manual backups as you want.
@Slavo Then why does the pro seat plan explicitly mention “unlimited manual backups” ? Like typically only features which are added in a upgraded plan are written down right when comparing plans so if this unlimited backups are included in essential plan then why write it down separately in the higher Pro seat plan details and not in the essential plan details?
Oh, yes you are right, I stand corrected - Essential does not have unlimited manual backups. Sorry for confusing things!
Ok. So does essential plan have the ability to do a limited amount of backups? Or you can’t back up at all ?(That would be very impractical though)
On Essential, you get one automatic backup per 24 hrs.
