Displaying Routes between Pins on a Map

There is the Google Maps and Mapbox Map options. Neither seem to give a native function for displaying a route between 2 or more pins (Long/Lat). Further, combining that with an ordered list of items (think scheduled appointments) for a given day would also be of need.

Can we display routes on either of the Map extensions somehow? I’ve been trying to figure out how I can show what a driving route might be between two or more points.

Let’s say you have 5 addresses for a given day you’re planning to travel between, in an order. Can we use the Mapbox extension to display the pins for that day with a visual route indicator between them?

The silence hurts!

Apologies for the late reply!

Not sure this is possible without resorting to code write now. Let me check-in with the tech team and get back to you on that one.

Thanks. That’s how it appears.

Many “scheduling” applications rely on the visualization of a route, similar to retrieving directions from your current point to a future point.

It would be incredible if this type of option existing in both Map components where you can show an array of locations and order them based on some data, such as time of day they are to occur.

Think of it like a set of visits to pick up donations from homes in a town. You would want to show visually on the Map so the person scheduling could check that the route makes sense.
