Dev environment does not correspond to tutorial? Can't add a card

Hello all! I’m just learning the basics. In the tutorial Intro to the WeWeb editor from 0:40 I should drop a section with a container and a card inside of the container. Section and container works ok, but a card is not available (when I search for the card element). I also see the the UI of the editor in the tutorial is different to the UI of the editor I use. I see for example that in the tutorial the visual elements available to be added are: Section, Columns, Container and so on, but in my editor I have only Section, Container and so on - Columns is not available (also when I search by typing the name: Columns). So my editor seems to have less options than the one in the tutorial. I got stuck here. Please advise :slight_smile: Regards, Greg

Hey Greg, this is due to updates that we introduced, but often we dont have the time to update tutorials.

Columns element is deprecated in place of the ‘grid’ display option for divs.

Card element is not available anymore in the add panel by default, but it is available in the Starter Kit in marketplace libraries

Hello. According to your advise, I have installed the Starter Kit (which will be very helpful, I hope) and I follow this tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6YX21Qga3N0 But now, I see that my Starter Kit seems to have less options than the one from the above tutorial: The Starter Kit Source project in the tutorial has a page called Table (as displayed on the top left of the window in 1:22 of the tutorial) but the Starter Kit I have installed does not have a page called Table - the only page with a name starting with “T” is Tabs. Please advise once again :slight_smile: Greg

It would be helpful to add or pin updates to the tutorial videos these details for new people onboarding to the platform.

It took me awhile to figure out where to go.

Libraries/Book Icon/Marketplace/Starter Kit “Add to Project”

Even after going to the marketplace, & adding Starter Kit to the Project
I was checking in basics and it was nowhere to be found- frustrating I know

It will actually show up in Add/Assets search or scroll down to “Card”

sounds simple enough but still- making tutorials updates or pinned comments, will help make them less obsolete or confusing

hope this helps any other lost souls get out of the forest quicker lolz
