Combat Dynamic Page Height

I have a tabbed section at the bottom of a page. I navigate between the tabs, the height of the tab section, and the page adjust causing the position of elements to move around. I’d expect the page to remain at the same position and only the length below to shrink imperceptibly. Does anyone know why this might be happening and/or do you have advice on how I might overcome this? As of now the only solution I can think of is to hardcode the height of the tab section but that feels super hacky.

I would first look at how the parent container is set up and then be able to see how that impacts the children.
