Best AI coding assistant for a WeWeb project with a UUID-based structure?

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for recommendations on the best way to integrate AI coding assistance into my development workflow with WeWeb.

My project is synced to GitHub, and I’m comfortable working in an external code editor. My goal is to find an AI tool that can handle complex tasks and understand the full context of my project.

What I’ve tried:

  • WeWeb’s built-in AI: It’s great for small projects , but I always run into context size limits on larger pages or components.

  • Cursor: I tried using Corsor but had some trouble understanding the structure of the WeWeb UUID component.

My Question: Has anyone found an AI coding assistant or a specific workflow that works well with the UUID-based structure of an exported WeWeb project? Are there any tips or prompting techniques for making a tool like Cursor understand the WeWeb architecture better?

I’d appreciate any recommendations or insights you have. Thanks!

Unfortunately trying to integrate external AI will lead to a bad experience. The whole feedback loop is a nightmare with all the WeWeb exclusive syntax. Best case is you yourself being the translation layer between AI and your project. But that is hard because most of the WeWeb syntax is not documented.

Hi @tomerer2000,

If you try something, please give us feedback. I’m very interested in this approach.
