# Video on my homepage

Hello,

I have a 6 secs video that I want to use in the main Hero section of my homepage.

I uploaded it on Weweb and then did as in the screenshot below. However I never saw the video play. Could you please guide me here ? Thanks

What did you get in the output? I mean, does it load the video?

Hi @MrUnfreeze 👋

If I understand correctly, you have:

- A hero section
- As the background to that hero section, you have a video

Is that right?

If so, can you try these two things:

1. make sure that there is a fixed width and height on the hero section that are big enough to display the video (to give you an example, if both are 0px, you won’t see the video)
2. I see in your screenshot that the `Image` property and `Color` property seem to have values. Can you try resetting them like in the video below? (I think they may be overriding the video property)
