Hi,

Under Workflows there are now 2 options - Page Triggers and App Triggers which show a list of those triggers. However for element triggers, one must click through the layout tree to find which elements habe triggers attached to them.

Maybe a option can be included under the Page and App Triggers named Element Triggers that shows a list of all of the element triggers and their associated pages. Clicking one would select the element on the page and open the workflow builder.

Just a thought.

Thanks

Steve

Hi Steve, if I’ve understood your suggestion correctly, you can find a workflow associated with an element by searching for the workflow directly using Ctrl + F (if you’re on Windows) or Cmd + F (on a Mac, I think), and when you search for the workflow, it tells you where it’s associated.

I’m not sure if this answers your question.😅

Hi Habid,

This is fine when you know or remember what the workflow is. I think that most developers will know that sometimes when you come back to a project after a while either to update or troubleshoot it can seem very foreign. Furthermore, if you were not the person that did the development in the first place it will be worse!

An app with lots of screens and elements may have dozens of workflows and you may not even remember which elements have them or not even know as you if you are taking over from someone who did the development.

Right now, you either have to know the name of what you are looking for or go through and fully expand all the layout and check all of the elements one by one.

Even if not a list of all the workflows in the app, at least all the workflows on the page and the elements to which they are attached. This should help the whole process of understanding the app and with any troubleshooting.

Thanks

Steve
